First Surfing Experience with Friends and a Young Instructor from Dekom

That morning, the sun was just beginning to rise over the eastern horizon. My friends and I arrived at the beach feeling both excited and nervous. It was our very first time trying surfing.

At the beach, we were welcomed by a young instructor from Dekom who was friendly and full of energy. His smile immediately put us at ease. Before entering the water, he taught us how to stand on the board, how to keep our balance, and most importantly, how to stay safe in the ocean.

"Don't be afraid to fall," he said with a smile. "Every great surfer has fallen many times too."

Hearing that, we laughed, and our nervousness began to fade.

When we first paddled out, the waves looked much bigger than we had imagined. As the instructor gave the signal to paddle, we did our best. A few seconds later, a wave arrived and... we immediately fell into the water! My friends burst out laughing, and I laughed too, even with seawater all over my face.

The young instructor from Dekom never stopped encouraging us. Patiently, he helped each of us one by one. He continued to give simple tips and motivation whenever we failed.

After several attempts, I finally managed to stand on the board for a few seconds. It felt incredible. The breeze felt fresher, the sound of the waves seemed more beautiful, and I could hear my friends cheering behind me.

Before long, my friends also started catching their own waves. We encouraged each other, laughed together whenever someone fell, and celebrated every small success.

When the lesson was over, we sat on the beach enjoying the ocean view. Our bodies were tired, but our hearts were full of satisfaction. That day was not only about learning how to surf, but also about having the courage to try something new, strengthening our friendship, and creating wonderful memories together.

Thanks to the patient and enthusiastic guidance of the young instructor from Dekom, our first surfing experience became a moment we will never forget. We arrived as nervous beginners, but we left with big smiles and a strong desire to ride the waves again someday. 🌊🏄‍♂️🏄‍♀️😄
