Love you so much
We are like waves and wind—never truly still.
In the lineup, we often clash. Not with words, but in the way we chase the same waves. When one spots a set coming from afar, the other paddles faster, trying to get ahead, each proving who reads the ocean first. Sometimes our boards nearly collide, sometimes small shouts break through the sound of the wind. Our egos rise and fall like the tide.
But strangely, behind all of that, we always look out for each other.
When one of us gets slammed hard by a breaking wave, the other immediately comes closer, making sure everything is okay. When the current starts pulling too far, we signal each other, reminding one another to come back. There is no competition in danger—only the instinct to protect.
And yet, as soon as the ocean calms… the rivalry returns.
We compete in everything—who takes off faster, who stands longer, who reads the waves best. Every wave becomes a small arena where we silently battle. But that’s exactly where we grow. Without realizing it, we push each other to become better.
Day by day, we remain the same—arguing, protecting, competing.
Just like surfing itself.
Sometimes the sea is calm, sometimes it’s chaotic. Sometimes we fall, sometimes we glide perfectly. But as long as we stay in the same water, facing the same waves, we know one thing:
We may go against each other…
but we will never truly leave one another behind in the ocean.
