That afternoon, the waves rolled in gently.
Not big, not frightening—yet enough to make our hearts race.
We stood on the board.
Knees trembling, eyes fixed ahead, breath held tight.
A small push from behind.
One wave came.
We hesitated… then stood.
Only for a few seconds.
But in those seconds, a new courage was born.
Today, one wave.
Tomorrow, perhaps farther.
