That day, I came to Kuta Beach with one goal: surfing. Full of excitement, I imagined myself standing coolly on the waves but reality was different. Within minutes in the water, I had already fallen over and over again. The ocean tasted salty, my hair was a mess, but instead of panicking, I found myself laughing. Every fall made me want to try again. With the help of an instructor, I slowly learned how to read the waves and keep my balance even though I still ended up wiping out most of the time. Until finally, I managed to stand up. Only for a few seconds, but it felt incredible.

That day, I realized surfing isn’t about being instantly good or looking cool. It’s about having the courage to try, enjoying the process, and finding happiness in every fall. 🌊🏄‍♀️✨
